MY LIFE IN BRIEF: I was born in Washington DC and lived there with my parents and two sisters until my parents divorced in 1987. My mother then moved us all to London and I was enrolled in the harsh yet character building English schooling system. I was in boarding school for 10 years punctuated by visits to my Italian mother in Rome on holidays and chunks of the summer with my father in Washington DC. I did not make it back to the US permanently until attending RISD in 1998. In the years that followed I learned a lot about my long lost country and went on numerous road trips across the 3,500 miles that separated Rhode Island and the west coast. I quickly built a strong patriotic feeling for the USA based on these travels and through my experiences of all it's variations of climate, topography and even the different cultures within each state.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Since graduating from Industrial Design in 2002 I have been exploring the wonderful world of web design. This has made me very mobile and after living in Providence for some time I began to practice the art of "remote working", making many places my temporary home: Mexico, England, Japan, China and Korea, Thailand- even an extended stint in possibly my favorite US city - Los Angeles. I work with my own clients, managing projects and designing custom user interfaces. I document these projects and my travel ramblings at projectfresh.com.

INTERESTS: Emerging technologies, human-computer interaction, consumer electronics and web development. I am particularly interested in intuitive interfaces and products that improve communication and enhance people’s lives. I love to travel and meet new people and before leaving LA started a monthly, cross-professional mixer in LA called MindShare’ that attracts people from all backgrounds to interact. I am also an avid karaoke singer, outdoor adventurer and travel writer/photographer.

LOCATION: At the time of this writing I am in Bangkok at an Indian curry house, using their free wifi and eating samosas.
